Rhode Island Senior Games

Rhode Island Senior Games celebrates record-breaking 2024 participation with close to 500 athletes across all events!

Bowling Success … in pictures!

The 2024 Rhode Island Senior Games Bowling tournament was held this past Sunday (Aug 11) at Lang’s Bowlarama in Cranston, RI … and it was a great success!

Bowling Ambassador and Cranston Mayoral candidate, Robert Ferri, as well as Tournament Director Rich Goetz were pleased to see a strong contingent of bowlers from throughout New England … including experienced league bowlers as well as those returning to the sport. Much fun was had by all, including our high-energy, neon-clad volunteers! A highlight of the day was the hush that fell over almost all competitors as Sean Richard rolled his third ball in the tenth frame of game 2, after 11 consecutive strikes. Alas, Sean finished with a 297 … and thunderous applause!
